What a pain.
So last winter with rain finding its way into the house I promise myself we'll get a new roof this summer. So I went and did it. Got a roofing contractor all lined up and to do it right. I hope. The original roof was no doubt the cheapest a housing developer could put on it. Back in the 80s I had another roof or rather another layer of asphalt shinlges applied. So now its all being ripped off and correct flashing, re-align gutters, proper venting will be done. Big bucks.
Also co-ordinated with this I need to remove and re-install my satellite dishes (DTV and Net), remove and re-install the solar water heater...and also having some health issues that require tests.

Its a pain when things get old and worn out...including me. :pbj

Sounds like fun. Our roof is now 10 years old. We need to sell the house before it needs to be replaced.

I hope the medical issues are not major.

Been there , done that---about 5 years ago, I had new plywood sheating put on the entire roof also, I wish now I would have put on a tin roof, good luck.

You know when you pop and crack more than your house things have changed..... I sound like a bowl of walking "Rice Krispies".

One of the joys of living in the carolinas is hail - insurance replaced our roof last year, $18,000 that I didn't have to pay.

I trust the health issues will resolve ok, as long as they don't have to amputate below the neck.

I hope that it is not this test...

I hope your physical health issues are minor, because your mental health is the exact opposite.
