So,as Craig has reported, I have been on the hunt for another car as I sold my vert for opportunities to share more of this hobby with my wife. Phase 1- Sell vert. Mission accomplished.
Phase 2 - Money burning a hole in my pocket, go buy another car. Mission accomplished.
And really, did y'all REALLY think I was going for a 70's model Grande? REALLY? :chair I don't think so. So, I found a ride, one which Craig just about nailed with his guess and when we went to meet, guess what, she followed us home!
Hopped up on the trailer and wouldn't leave.
Followed me all the way to the driveway.
When I pull the cover off, this is what I get!
A Red hot fresh 68 coupe! And what a car it is!
So far, we couldn't be happier.
bj Picked it up in Sarasota, made a quick visit to some family nearby and then straight home to figure out what I may want to do with her. The best thing though, is the wife loves it! She's ready to partake in the fun and I couldn't be happier. 289, Automatic, power steering, power brakes, AC, fresh interior and paint and a fresh rebuilt transmission. Overall I'd say we did pretty good.
Thank God I talked her out of the Grande! :thum
