So,as Craig has reported, I have been on the hunt for another car as I sold my vert for opportunities to share more of this hobby with my wife. Phase 1- Sell vert. Mission accomplished.
Phase 2 - Money burning a hole in my pocket, go buy another car. Mission accomplished.
And really, did y'all REALLY think I was going for a 70's model Grande? REALLY? :chair I don't think so. So, I found a ride, one which Craig just about nailed with his guess and when we went to meet, guess what, she followed us home!

Hopped up on the trailer and wouldn't leave.

Followed me all the way to the driveway.

When I pull the cover off, this is what I get!
A Red hot fresh 68 coupe! And what a car it is!

So far, we couldn't be happier. :pbj Picked it up in Sarasota, made a quick visit to some family nearby and then straight home to figure out what I may want to do with her. The best thing though, is the wife loves it! She's ready to partake in the fun and I couldn't be happier. 289, Automatic, power steering, power brakes, AC, fresh interior and paint and a fresh rebuilt transmission. Overall I'd say we did pretty good.
Thank God I talked her out of the Grande! :thum

Ron let me be the first to say ya done good! :thum :thum
VERY sweet looking and glad Brenda enjoys it too!

Now, if ya still want the land yacht version..........LOL

Had a GT/CS that same color combination, but I thought RED was a color that you did not want. :swhat

Congrats on the NEW Mustang, and happy to hear the SWMBO approves. :thum

Where's the hell is my Grande? Sorry, thought I was at Starbucks.

Very nice car Ron, especially being a '68 :thum. I'm sure Brenda is going to enjoy her new wheels.
