I received a small envelope from AtlantaSteve today. Since I wasn't expecting anything, I was very leary and called the local Sheriff's office. They sent the bomb squad out and determined there was no threat and left (phew!).

I gingerly slice the end of the yellow envelope and slide out the note

and then I slide out what I realize is a magnetic decal

Where I then started laughing so hard, my stomach split open and now my guts are all over the kitchen floor :ep

Glad you liked it!! I just hope the color match is close...I went through several pictures of your car trying my darndest to match it...but that's always so tenuous....

Oh well, it's not like you'll know the difference!!!!

OK Mark so this is really not a total thread hijack. :sur But I am going to come out and ask what is the deal with the PT Bruiser? I just went to your car domain web site and looked at your youtube at the track. Are there some other youtube videos that you have with your PT Bruiser? Is it one of those you have to be there to watch things? So do you sit in your living room in front of your big screen TV playing your videos of you at the track. Like right now in the dead of winter? Do you use a stick to shift with or just an "air" shifter. :craz Because dude that is just the coolest thing that I can imagine. And your "wife" does it too. Your friends only make fun of you because they are so jealous. fd

I posted a video of me on track as my Bluestreaks gave up their traction. A blue turbo VW in the advanced group was ahead of me and I was doing my best to catch him, but the car was like driving on ice in the corners. It was a blast to drive, but was slow getting in & out of the corners. The VW looks a lot like a PT Cruiser, thus the legend was born :ecit

My wife's PT has turbo but at the end of the day it's still a 2.4L engine.

Overall I hate that car and want to get rid of it. Even my Explorer gets better gas mileage.
 
Joking aside, my buddy used to have a VW GTI VR6 Naturally Aspirated, Cam and head work done, intake and exhaust upgraded, THOUSANDS in suspension and brake upgrades, street/track tires.

That sucker was FAST. Especially through the turns. I rode with him on the streets a few times and was glad he had installed 4pt belts.

OK thank you for the explanation. I was thinking that is was a "real" PT that everyone was talking about. I mean with the right suspension, engine and driver any turd can go fast. But why a PT was always my question. Yes I know that they do have a following, but still why a PT. Thanks for taking the time to clear it up for me. :vic fd
