My MOS was an air traffic controller so I got to know quite a few of the pilots. Mainly Hueys, LOHs and I actually got a ride in a Cobra. Now THAT was a ride. I was at Phouc Vinh, about 30 miles north of Saigon with the First Air Cavalry division. Spent about 3 weeks in the field at an LZ but most of my time at PV.
