Looking at some new wheels

I am looking at Vision wheels Legend 5 seriesChrome. Here's a link to the website http://www.visionwheel.com/wheel.cfm?id=468

Here's a pic of the rim.

I am looking at 17x8 with 4.5 backspace. Do you think you 4.5 backspace is enough they also have 5.25 backspace?

Oh yeah it's going on a 67 coupe.

look good, I think 5.25" b.s. would be too much. I have 17"x8" with 4.5" b.s.
I have a Versailles 9" which is narrower than stock and I have 1" spacers which puts the wheel back where it would be on a stock rear.

Looks good, Dave. I would go with the 4.5 BS. I think there is room on the 67, but for more BS you would have to double check with measurements and you may have to move some things like brake lines and such. I don't think you will have an issue with the inner wheel well, just all the other stuff.

IIRC there is a seam or something that would need to be smoothed out in order to go with more BS.

4.5" backspace should fit but 4.75" is better, especially on the front.

Ya know I wish companies would put wheel pricing on their websites. What does one of those rims cost, assuming you've called and asked them?

4.5BS on an 8" wide wheel could cause some interference issues up front. They'll be fine out back though.
