Don't write it off just because it has been "filled". It may still be a very good engine...maybe better. Just depends on the filler used and how it was done. As long as it was not filled to the point it completely incapacitates the flow of coolant throughout the block. I am far from an expert in this area but do know there are plenty of "filled" blocks out there driving around making oodles of tire shredding power.
