Looking for a used Jeep Rubicon...

So many lifts and oversize tires kill the power unless the gears are changed. Many skip that because of having to change two axels. Check how it steers....even with the tires and lift, it should still steer easy and not wonder. Check the 4wd...shifter on these seem to become out of adjustment....easy fix but if out of adjustment, hard to check 4wd. The frame, just in front of the rear axle where it sweeps down to the front....normal rust out area due to water settling inside the frame.

That one does look nice. The mirrors for when the doors are off my suck. Most vibrate and move in the wind?

My daughters fiancé just got an 06 Wrangler Sport with 80,000 miles or so for 10,500....lifted, tires, light bars, hard and bikini tops, 4.0, auto, a/c, killer radio system, rear storage setup. Do some research because prices go all over the place.

I have no idea on what these vehicles cost but 22.5k for a 12 (13) year old vehicle seems high, altho it does only have 66k on the clock.

I have owned 3 Jeep wranglers over the years. They are fun vehicles but suck on gas. But that's not why people buy them.

They do hold there value very well.

A stock Rubicon would be around $18,000+. With the upgrades on it I would say $20,000 would be a good target.

I love the the straight six. It's a great engine and will run forever.
But when you start adding big tires and such it is a bit under powered.

I'd go test drive one to see how you like it.
