Looking for leads on 67-70 Cougar for my teenager

My 16 year old is all fired up about classic cars and has taken a liking to the early Mercury Cougars.

We live in NY and I thought I'd just throw this out there in case some of you Mustang guys and gals have any leads. He's in the $4500-$6500 range. It's going to be his primary car, so he can't take on a project / restoratio from a money standpoint or be off the road for that kind of time.

Fell free to post up anything you've heard of or PM me. Thanks!
Ken

Just be aware that these old cars are not good cars for the average teen. Reliability is a concern and the big one SAFETY. Basically they have none compared to what's offered today. Of course its your call. Every situation is different.

After worrying that some of the links provided may contain certain websites....I was wondering....

Are you sure you teenager said "Mercury" Cougar....and not that has taken a liking to cougars????:D

Who is possibly interested in a 67-70 Cougar? Certainly a Cougar in the 35-45 range would be better, don't you think?
