Luck O' the Irish, Saint Patrick's Day Bash ChumpCar Race at Hallett!

The 1st Chumpcar race of 2013 for KH Motorsports is this weekend at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, 7 hrs of racing Sat and then 7 more on Sunday. I wish I could be there, but the Boss won't let me close the store!


Hope all goes well and that they finish with all the fenders intact. I'll be monitoring the race via the Race Monitor app. Jerry Coleman is the virgin driver this year!

Sure did! I talked to Ronnie this afternoon about if he could notice a diff in handling. Of course, he couldn't....maybe the next time a "real" race car driver, *cough* Tony *cough* gets in the car, he might be able to tell!

Race ended today around 4pm with KH Motorsports finishing a very respectable 14th :thu They overcame some big problems from yesterday and this morning.


They had 2 valve springs give up and bent a valve. Replaced the heads and started this morning at 9am. Soon after, they had spark plug wire problems. Got those fixed and battled back from 28th place to finish 14th out of a 37 car field. They kept us updated throughout the race via FB (yeah, yeah) and you could almost feel like you were there.


Congrats to Ronnie, Alan, Moe, Bobby, Jerry, Jason, Wayne, etc...on a race well run :thu
