Made in America! Probably not!

I get a little depressed these days when shopping. We went to buy a cowboy shirt at Cavenders boots, and just about everything I looked at had the MADE IN CHINA or another foreign country. C'mon, shirts too!!! Boots made in India, Indonesia, etc.

Mostly I think of the men and women that have served and paid dearly and even those that made the fighting tools here in America to win the past wars and battles would surely roll over in their graves to see the direction our country has taken!

Remember in Back to the Future, when doc said, " no wonder it failed, it's made in Japan!" and Marty said, "gee doc, all the good stuff is made in Japan!"
It's getting to where China is doing that! Making some pretty decent stuff,Except at the cost of American jobs and our pride being washd down the drain!

But darn, I wouldn't have a bunch of decent tools and parts for my stang cause everything in my garage is mostly foreign except for a bunch of snap on, MAC, etc tools! I hope these are still made here!

Have we sold ourselves out, now the future United states of What? :shrug

I told Gary, next don't buy me anything unless it's made here! He said I wouldn't have much under the foreign made fake tree!!

So, where are we headed is my question to you? Or just some general thoughts?

Yes, were are now the United States of Consumer Whores. You don't see any other countries buying tuck loads of salad shooters and other useless sh*& from China.

went to Epcot today, you know the Disney around the world place. In the USA section all the stuff with American flags or US symbols, etc. was made in China or other countries. It was pretty sad.

If you moved this to the politics section I would tell you how I really feel, trust me the future isn't too bright.
