Yak, yak, yak
Today was the 27th wedding anniversary for the wife and I. I guess you can tell you're an old married couple when she goes shopping and I work on the Mustang! It really doesn't seem like that long ago we were first married. I have to say that all these years may not have been easy, but I wouldn't trade them for anything. I guess that's a good sign. Many of my friends have been married...operative word being "been"....past tense. They repeatedly tell me how they envy me and how well our marriage has worked through the years.
Our kids took us downtown for a nice dinner and that was entertainment in itself. My daughter ended up spilling her drink all over herself. When she picked up the glass it was wet and slipped out of her hand, first landing on the edge of the table then all over her lap and also got my son. He then began taking his shirt off, stating he didn't want to eat dinner with a wet sleeve. I swear I taught them better manners than that! He was finally convinced to leave it on and he just rolled his sleeves up. Fortunately the restaurant only had a few other customers in the upstairs area where we were. By the time it started to fill up, both kids had dried out. I told my daughter she brought a whole new meaning to the phrase "can't hold your beer!". It was definitely an anniversary dinner to remember! :thu
