Woke up Saturday morning getting set to work on my car on the lift and also wanted to put together my new cherry picker so I could start the rebuild on my Cleveland. The wife asks what are your plans for today so I tell her. She then says I thought you could help me do some planting of flowers..I shout and scream NOOOOOOO..I stomp my feet, pound the ground with my fists, and generally plead for a repeal, but NOOOOOOOOO she wants those damn flowers planted. So off I go spending the entire day planting flowers..and to make matters worse..they are PANSYS..God help me!.. :hs

Pansies are very misjudged, they actually are very strong flowers. We always saw ours in Michigan sticking their little flowers up out of the snow when all the other flowers died.

Does SWMBO not know how to use a shovel????

I've learned that when SWMBO asks, "What are you plans today?" it means "I've got plans for you."

We don't generally allow that type of behavior in NC; however, there's a "grace period" for new guys... Please don't let it happen again...

Hey Vinny, I feel for you and know where you are coming from---could you have stood your ground and told her to plant her "pansies" in her dirt shoot?, damn straight you could have but you thought about it and weighed the outcome and made a executive manly decision to step up and help her this time fully aware you now will have a trump card to play at a later more critical date! See, you actually won and your man card is intact!

:wth

Don't do that no more. Tell her you need to get something at the store and ride down here to Myrtle Beach for a mini MBB.

All I can say is if I was married to a pink broom, I'd also give in to the world of Pansies...
