Marvel Mystery oil

Not for engine/trans.

I used it to lube my sticky speedo cable. Typical problem with the stock needle jumping all over the place at low speeds. I soaked the cable overnight in a coffee can of MMO and it mostly did the trick.

I add it to the fuel in my diesel truck and it does make a difference. I've also put it in the tanks of both 68s along with Stabil.

I use it rarely with my Mustang, but I use it a LOT for lubing my air tools before each use.... Gold standard for that.

It's pretty cool stuff. Very versatile. It's a high-detergent, high lubricity chemical and does a decent job cleaning out combustion chambers and fuel lines. It's very useful for mechanically-injected diesel applications due to the lubricity factor. Many people I know with diesels run it all the time. It's also commonly used to 'winterize' motors, lube air tools, loosen sticky lifters, etc.

Personally, I prefer Seafoam for my car (for both fuel and oil), but I won't turn down a free bottle of Marvel.
