Master Cylinder Dimension?

Can someone help out with a quick dimension check? I need the length of a Disc/Drum master cylinder from the mounting flange to the opposite end, preferably off of a Maverick or similar application (basically end to end measurements). I have dimensions for a Raybestos MC36445 master cylinder, which is listed as 9 1/4" long, but I believe that includes the portion of the master cylinder that's actually recessed into the face of the brake booster (or firewall, depending on application). Thanks!

I believe mine is the Maveric type (SSBC mc installed by po) Looks to about 7 3/8 from the firewall to the end. kip
