Well, I'd like to thank everyone who made the pilgrimage to Myrtle Beach again to complete yet another successful MBB! This year brought us a new face to the crowd as Uncle Vinny made his MBB debut. The cast of characters that came this year were many of the same as in years past. Thank you all for taking time out of your busy lives to come down here and hang out for a weekend. It truly is an event each year that I patiently look forward to. This year would have brought us the most folks ever, but, we lost Atlanta Steve a week before due to work and Dave, my shop manager who has a 66 coupe couldn't make it this year due to he and his wife adopting a newborn baby the day of the event! Steve and Dave, y'all were definitely missed. Hope to see you next year! I think everyone was happy with the outcome as we all met Friday night for dinner at Cooter's again and proceeded to Broadway at the Beach for a plethora of adult beverages! Saturday's golf tournament brought us a new Champion in Blue65coupe, and new winners for 2nd and 3rd in Dave Sanborn and Havok1 respectively. Dave's wife Gabby again proved that large quantities of alcohol and putt-putt hardly go together as she won the horses ass award for the second time! I was asked to permanently name it the "GABBY AWARD" from now on. Seems logical. After a brief stop at my local club's all Ford and Mustang Show, we headed back to the house for some good ole barbecue, mac and cheese, green beans and tater salad, followed by Jen's homemade brownies and homemade ice cream! As the beer began to flow, Dave took over the show with his jammin karaoke machine and the party took off from there! So we'll put this one in the books and start the planning for next year. Hard to believe we've done this 4 times already. Thanks again to everyone who showed up. Y'all are great!
