It's a balmy 2 degrees with a wind chill of -17. Nothing like spending the morning on an open tractor plowing so swmbo can get to the airport! Wind's blowing so hard even the dog doesn't want to go out.

Sounds like the kind of weather you should set up that old slot car set and spend the day inside drinking adult beverages and working
on driving skills

I thought I had it bad with days of 20 degree temps. The snow that fell 1 and 1/2 weeks ago and it is still here! Very strange for us. It usually melts the next day!

It is supposed to get warmer though, in the 40s so this stuff may go away soon! I hope.

My daughter in North Dakota said she is deep in snow and ice! She says it will likely wait until April to go away!

No track, just cars :rant

38 but wind chill = feeling like 28 outside. I hate the cold.

That's not the worst part though. Sunday it rained pretty good and silly me forgot to put the car cover on my sebring. :hide

Well it's a convertible and the top has a huge hole where it separated at the bottom of the rear window. Lets just say there's a nice little lake going on in the back. I tried scooping the water out yesterday, which I said hell with it when I couldn't feel my fingers anymore. There's still about 6" of water left. Tonight its suppose to be like 20-25 degrees and stuff is going to freeze. I'm going to see if it will make a giant ice cube! :part

Kat...do what I did in an old VW I didn't care about...there was water inches deep in the back foot well (leak somewhere I didn't care about) so I just drilled a hole in the floor.
Water comes in, water goes out. :bowdown

The door hinge bushings were shot on my old '80 Firebird and I was running late for high school one morning and didn't close the door good. It came one of those Texas spring thunderstorms and when I got out of school that afternoon I had about 6 inches of water in my back floor board.

A buddy of mine had a wet / dry vac so I just drove to his house and sucked up all the water.

I was in the garage last night and it was really windy and pretty cold last night. Even with all the garage doors closed I was glad I was using a heat gun while working on the TA.

Mark, shouldn't you be rebuilding a motor since you can't get out anyway? Or do we need to send you some more PT Cruiser models? :confu

I have a sump pump I can use if I wanted. I just don't want to go outside and I could care less about the sebring. LOL It was one of those $1000 cars I got just because I wanted a convertible. I hate the car now.

Mark, you live in paradise. Keep repeating that..... I need to take of my wind breaker, I am breaking into a sweat.

Mark,

I could send you another model but I lost your address....what was it again?

I recall it had something in it about C/O Kansas State Department of Corrections.... :roll
