Monterey weekend..

I'm going to the Monterey Reunion races this Saturday. Anyone else going?
Last year i was surprised to find Bryan (GrabberOrange69) there with his father.

I'm driving the Mustang and will be inside the track at Laguna Seca. Years ago when I went with the Mustang and parked inside they let us drive the track at lunch time....at speed. It was great driving the corkscrew in the '67. Hope it happens again.
 
More advanced notice would have helped Mike! I would love to get back there for these races. It's been years!!
 
I've been watching some videos uploaded to FB. I have GOT to get out there for this!!
 
Its sensual overload. I go on Saturday because there are quite a few cars that leave after Saturday if they don't make the next round in racing. So more to look at than Sunday. Although Sunday the F1s do run which is awesome. I love the Trans Am and Cam Am cars the best. And you have to have racing pedigree to make it into the field. A couple years ago I watched a Shelby Daytona miss a shift on turn 5 and heard a bang. He went straight for the tire wall. Hit it too. A few $$ in damages.
 
I'd love to spend the week watching. Got to see a bunch of them last year at the Daytona Historic 24 hours.
