I went back down to San Carlos, Mexico and got to play with my boat three days while there. My friends started me out the first day when we had a lot of wind and as much as 4-foot-high waves. I learned how to ride the trough that day, but held it to about 20 miles an hour. But, by the third day, I was cruising at 60 mph and having a blast. It did help that the sea was glassy that last day.
The boat is running like a dream, but we're still figuring out some of the handling controls. It was cool to look back and see the roostertail it would make at times. Here's a photo of one, and also one that proves I am driving the boat.
