motor mounts

I was checking the motor mounts and am going to replace them due to some big splits on the rubber ones that are there. How do the polyurethane ones work out. Is there excessive vibration because they are not as flexible as the rubber ones. I will probably go with the urethane but thought I would ask for some input first. I have a 302 in it right now.
Thanks

You will feel/hear more vibration from them.....but this is also based on what your exhaust note or radio volume is at.....

sorry, i know this isn't what you asked, but have you heard of the Lakewood "Muscle Mounts"?

they look very close to stock (or at least the set i had did, maybe slightly thinner gauge steel), use rubber and are supposedly interlocked internally.

I put on a pair of polyurethane motor mounts a couple of years ago and can honestly say I didn't notice any difference in noise or vibration.

My car is pretty noisy anyway. I also have 500lb front lowering springs.

I have always thought my car drove really nicely. I would also like to point out that going to the roller spring perches and adj strut rods made a noticeable nice difference.
