Moved solarpanels

B67FSTB

The NorCal dude from Belgium
Well my garages roof is leaking at a few places so I need to repaire it.
I want to change that flat roof to a gable roof , so the solarpanels have to move.
I have been prepairing this move last year by placing 8 tubes of 6inch dia and 6 ft long in the back yard.
And relocate new DC cable from the inverter to the installation.
Last week my son helped me removing the panels. Next days I removed the rails, converted them and made a frame of them.
Last sunday , my wife helped me to get the panels on the frame. It took me 5 days to dissemble , convert and instal the installation.
Next thing to do is to renovate the porch and sunscreen on the porch or is it veranda ??

Man, I'm tired just reading about all that.

Nice work though.

I'll be right over to help.;)
Still waiting for you to arrive . :p

Meanwhile I hauled new acrylic plates for the porch. They are about 9-10ft long and 4ft wide. Plexiglas Heatstop Cool blue 32mm .

And already placed a scaffolding next to the porch so I drag the 2x12ft sunscreen/blinds up to the scaffolding.

First I have to replace the acrylic plates and afterwards when I remounted the sunscreen , a new screen/cloth.

A few pics of the new acrylic plates and scaffolding.

Forgot something : in between I have to solve a problem with a belt tensioner of a MB SL300-24V.

Today I took the opportunity to place some covers over the wooden plank that stuck out beneath the lace trims /side tiles ?
So thats done. Now I have to find new seals so I can change the old acrylic plates of the porch.

While waiting on parts for the porch and sunscreen , the A/C's arrived.
Installed the outdoor units and had alot of work to reinforce the ceiling so I could mount the indoor cassette/unit into the ceiling.
It took me awhile to mount the indoor unit properly.
Next will be the indoor unit bedroom , indoor unit porch , copper lines , drain and electrical .
Then pressure testing with nitrogen (stikstof) and last is vacuum the lines before putting in the R32 gas.
In between I have to repaire some cars too . Change out a condensor of a mercedes V-klasse and of a B-klasse.
OOh , BTW ... and off may 1st , I am retiring !

Last weekend I changed out the polycarbunate plates out of the porch.
Alot of work ! More then expected.
I just have to finish off the edges.
Also mounted a new slats curtain.
Next sunscreen installation , but that could take awhile cause the boss has to choose which cloth design to take !!!
And the AC indoor units are still waiting for some tubes !!!

Oh yes , and of today , I am officially retired !!

Retired? Congratulations....but you'll soon find out that you are busier now than when you were working.

Today , due to weather condition, I finished installing the indoor AC ceiling unit.
