Mozilla Firefox add block question

As the subject says how do you block adds with Firefox? Is Firefox the best browser? :dh It is the one that I use most and like the best so far. I read a post somewhere that adds could be blocked somehow. Not worried about that here, or even over there, but some of the job search places that I visit could use a little blockage. :eek:mg fd

Best is subjective. A lot of people like Chrome. I just stick with FireFox.

My reason for sticking with FireFox is because of the HUGE library of Extensions that developers have made for it. These Extensions allow you to customize all sorts of things, and really give you a lot of flexibility.

One such extension is AdBlock. AdBlock looks at the page (Before you see it) and has an algorithm that goes through and figures out what is likely to be an ad. When it finds this, It removes it from the page! Simple as that.

Go here to add it to your browser:

Good luck!
Steve

I'll 2nd the Firefox & Adblock+ combo. Heck, it'll even confuse/block the ads on Hulu...that's my kind of TV watching experience. :rofl

If you get adblock, make sure you add in the US subscription in adblock. I've noticed that it doesn't do this at the time you install it.
