The wifes mother lives 2 hours and 40 minutes away, it is her birthday this weekend so guess who is driving his wife there to have lunch with her? leaving soon, also wifes sister , husband and 2 kids will be there also, wanna bet who gets to pay?
 
I bet you pay! :rofl :rofl But look at all the brownie points you will get. Heck that might even be a get out of jail free card. :yikes :dumas
 
Guess what, I was moving my glass on the table when my sister-in-lay reached for the check and said "here, is this what you were looking for?" as she handed me the check, then she never even offered to leave the tip! we went to a pretty cheap diner thing, 7 of us, got off just under 80 bucks, the food was great also. I tried my best to corrupt her two teenage kids while we ate, lots of high school stories, I got several "looks" lol
 
Man, been there done that. Knowing the dinner was on us, my sis-in-law ordered a extra dinner "to go" for her to take for lunch at work the next day. No offer to help with the tip and she got the two most expensive items on the menu for both meals and drank like a fish. She is just a waist of good oxygen.
 
I was really suprised that her entire family didn't order desert. If she would have ordered food to take home I don't know if I could have kept my mouth shut. Also had a shock when I checked if they took debit/credit cards---nope, I was glad the wife had around $100. with her. times are tough around Hannibal Mo. , the waitress said they quit taking credit/debit cards and almost all checks last year---
 
We were in my friends restaurant so I kept quiet. I'll take 'em to Burger King next time.

To be honest I wasn't sure what I was hearing till after the meal was over and it came to the table in two to-go boxes. Oh - she had desert too, and ate the part her kid didn't finish. She's a big fat chick that doesn't care about anything but herself. Folks like her show the rest of us how NOT to act. Fat, drunk and stupid.
 
A surprise "can you split this?" will get some serious attention. Next time, after dinner, tell the waitress you'll pay for yours and the b-day persons. It's very comical.
 
Or make a trip to the John and tell your waitperson that the one eating everything gets the tab.... And send them a b-day cake too.
