My avatar picture used to be the reflection of my car in Johnpro's mirror. Since it was posted on Photobucket, I've lost it. Does anyone have this picture to share with me? I can't find it on my computer.

Thanks.

Glad the guys helped you get the pics. And am I the only one that had no idea about something like that Wayback thing?! I'm so old now.

This is why I get so nervous about all our photos being digital now. We've lost so many over the years to failed hard drives, etc. What does everyone else do for more secure long term storage solutions? Stuff in your physical possession as opposed to Cloud like stuff.

My son and daughter-in-law are in the the website business, with a masters in computer science- they say to put it on the cloud. It will be on multiple servers and reclaimable. Personally I copy everything I don't want to loose (like photos and personal financial information) to my hard drive and an external drive. The power here in Atlanta isn't that stable- we loose it much more often than in SoCal, so all my computers have battery backup power supplies with surge protection. We get some hellacious thunder storms here. Many times I have shut everything down while thunder sounded like it was going to take the roof off. So far so good, but if there is a better way I would also like to know.

I save all my pictures to Google and also Amazon cloud.

I used to burn them to CD too, but now there's just too many. I can't keep up.
