Why Rabbit & Piglet of all Pooh characters? Well they represent my 2 kids. I wanted to get something like their zodiac signs. I was looking around and I could find tons of cool ideas for my daughters sign - Pisces (fish), but not so much when it came to my son's - Sagittarius (a fricking centaur shooting an arrow). Well there were some cool ideas for it but in order for it to even look decent and have details, it would have had to be huge and I couldn't think of anyway to merge the two signs together for one tatt. Plus I wanted something a little more unique.

So I looked up chinese zodiacs. Daughter was born in the year of the pig/boar, and my son in the year of the rabbit. So.. Rabbit & Piglet! I think it fits perfectly. I was thinking of getting Tigger & Eeyore later on. Hubby was born in the year of the tiger and I was born in the year of the horse. Yeah, I know, Eeyore isn't exactly a horse, but close enough!

So now I have 3 tattoos. Still need more! :thu

Happy belated B-Day, Kat!
Good on ya' for thinking through the tat before going under the needle. Makes it more meaningful. I did the same.

Thanks Chris!

It took me a while to come up with just the right idea for it. My other two tat's (tribal tramp stramp & flower on the ankle) were just "oh this looks cool" picked from the premade designs.

I told my husband since I was born in the year of the horse.. maybe I should just get the running horse mustang logo instead. LOL Dual purpose!

Happy belated Kat. It musta been tattoo weekend. My wife and daughter drove to Atlanta to my youngest sister's house. The three of them then went to get tats. The wife couldn't get the design she wanted so she didn't get one. My sister and daughter did though. Then I get home to find my son and his fiance both went locally and got them. Sheehs...go out of town due to work for a few days and come home to everyone being tat'd up!
