My car !@#%$ hates me

I'm glad to hear things are going better. If you still have issues with water in the oil, maybe you sould consider checking the head gaskets.

I had one that made me believe that the intake was the issue and it was a small blow out in the head gasket. All I had to do was pull it a part and draw file the surfaces and put it back together.

Thanks for letting me know about the torque pattern, it has been a while since I had to take one off.

Better not be the head gaskets. Everything's been fine since I dropped the Trick Flow heads on a couple months ago. First time I replaced the intake gasket was because I used the Fel Pro Permatorque gaskets instead of the 1250's. The Permatorques don't seal aluminum heads/intake for crap, so I replaced them with 1250's. Except I forgot my locating studs that time and ended up pushing the rear RTV seal out, causing oil to leak down onto a header tube every time I went up a hill. So, an oil change later I replaced it again. Now, 1k mi later, coolant in oil. Wasn't there a few days ago.

Well, we'll see tomorrow.

Time for a rental......sounds like you need a break from the car.....go for the date.

I lost a couple of wrenches from the same type things. Never knew where they landed on the 4 acres.

Get the extractor you need, do an easy, steady, and even pull on it and things should come out. Those things seem to get worse when you rush it.

We have all been there so we can relate. Good luck.

Eh, don't feel too bad for him. He was out dirtbike riding in the desert. He was racing some other guy, came up on a blind jump at 65 or so, came down and the road turned and he didn't. Honestly, I'm suprised he hasn't broken something already.

That's a good sport to break things. My step brother used to race semi-pro and has had several bad wipe outs. He finally gave it up due to having a bad back. Being self-employed, it isn't a good idea for him to be laid up with injuries and his back just can't hack it any more.
