My dad passed away early. He was 58. He was a strong willed man that has faced alot of adversity in his life. At 28 he wrecked a motorcycle which crushed his spine and left him paralyzed from the waist down. He was in the hospital for a year after dying twice on the operating table. He was left with 2 rods running from hip to neck on either side of his spine. He then spent another year in a rehabilitation center. He was only confined to a wheelchair for less than a year after getting home. Through shear will and determination he drug his lower body around on a walker. He lifted weights his whole life in order to maintain his upper body strength in order to stay out of a wheelchair.
We are not 100% sure what the cause of death was, but he'd had pneumonia for a few weeks. He died in his sleep Saturday morning.
He will not be forgotten. He left 3 sons, one grandson, and 2 granddaughters behind to carry on his name.
