As some of you know, we spend a lot of time at the lake when the weather and wind cooperate (which has been a lot this summer). Growing up in Florida allots a good amount of time on the water and we always put it to good use. Out here on the Prairie, the wind is usually a blowing which makes for rough water most of the time.
One of our past favorites was Barefooting. I did a short run last summer just before we put the boat up. That was the first time on my feet in 20+ years and it was a lot of fun. The weather was supposed to be perfect this morning and for once, it did not disappoint! Got on the water by 7am, put my suit on and jumped in. It was my brother's first time driving for foot'n, so I expected a craptastic pull! I decided to wear my trusty old Chuck Taylors for my first run. It makes it a lot easier for remembering how to foot.

I went out again after a short rest sans shoes and had a blast on my bare feet. Unfortunately, the camera messed up on Deb and my super cool foot'n run didn't get recorded :nut
I taught my bro how to deepwater off the boom and he was up first try! Back in the day, he always had to use a kneeboard to start. Not a bad day for 40 and 50 year old dudes. The younger kids in the boat (and Deb) were mesmerized :roll
The boat's ready for you Duane
