My planned boring summer vacation

Well it depends on your point of view.
Wife and I are flying to Chicago at the end of August to pick up the mother-in-law's '06 Focus (for my daughter). We are driving it back via the northern route (Wis,Minn, ND, Mnt,Id...or where-ever up there) with no Interstate driving.
I do so love to drive and see the country and experience other areas. We're taking about a week and a half to make it back to California. Should be fun...I hope.

I wish it was me making that trip. My plan is to buy an Australian Falcon and have it delivered to California and drive it home from there.

Can you imagine the poor hitchiker who was picked up....."oh look honey" says KBMWRS , "let's stop and check out the worlds largest ball of twine up here in bumwad, Idaho" or.........."oh honey look, two bison doing it. Let's stop and take pics. Maybe it will get me in the frisky mood..........maybe". Poor hitchiker.

As soon as you pick me up. I don't eat much and I will ride in the trunk. Lol.

Seriously though, we are pushing up our vacation to Sept 12 - 18. The plan is to meet with the district mgr in Dallas and talk to a realtor to check out the housing market in mckinney or rockwall maybe.

Then we have another 5 day trip planned for Oct that will probably be California? Not sure on that exactly yet.
We are starting to get our house ready to put on the market now.
