My version of Bullitt

Me, my dad , and uncle have been working really hard this summer to get my '68 done. Long story short, I got done with cancer treatment in February, started the car in May, and we finished this month. My uncle was very generous with his time and skills as we worked about every weekend this summer on it. My dad helped alot when he could too. It felt great to finally drive it again after over a year. Just wanted to share the excitement...and some pics. Justin

Look at them bad a$$ exhaust tips on the sides. So is this still a J code power plant?

I forgot to mention that your car looks OK if you like green mustangs

Better than the resale red we painted it last time. :lol The J code motor was gone long before I bought the car. I do however have a set of 4bbl intake and heads in my garage if I ever want to go to stock. Right now its got a 347 and its waaay to much fun. Justin

it's "arrest me" red :scar

but very nice job and cool that it was a family project. Hope the cancer is under control too

Great looking car! Any other pictures of the engine or interior? Good luck on the cancer. I hope the worst is behind you.

looks mean... I don't ever recall seeing one without the thin trim on the trunklid & end caps... that looks really good. What size are the rear tires?

It's matte black like the side stripe which is hard to see in the picture. My uncle made a custom side stripe with BULLITT instead of mustang in it. It's like a ghost stripe cause you really have to look to see it.
