David:I think it's 1957 to 1959 Ranchero tailgate emblem. They went to a different emblem starting 1960. Only reason I know because my friend recently bought a 1958 Ranchero. He was supposedly educating me on all things Ranchero.
Well my friend is wrong then. I'll be happy to tell him he's wrong!!David:
I have a buddy with an unrestored '62 Ranchero and that appears to be the emblem on his tailgate.
Regards, Jeff

Of course a Caddy but I don't know the model...that's why I ask you guys....the experts.
All reasons why I posted my guess as a '54!According to my 1961 copy of Motor's Auto Repair Manual, which contains pictures of each year's model grills, this is a 1954 Cadillac: it has four horizontal grill segments below the center horizontal large grill and only 1954 has a chrome extension below the bullet that goes both to the left and right. Beyond that, there is not enough information in the photo to determine which model Cadillac it is.
D'OHOf course a Caddy but I don't know the model...that's why I ask you guys....the experts.
