yesterday, I left work early to pay tribute to Nancy Reagan at the Reagan Presendtial Library. Thousands of people attended and it was very humbling.

I also had attended the last flight of Air FORCE One when Ronald Reagan had passed at Point Mugu. The 21 gun salute on base by the USMC was awesome.

They loved and supported one another and as such she did a great service for our country.
Its a very nice Library with Ronnie's old Air Force One, which is a 707 inside. While we were waiting to see the inside of the plane I got a call from my son, asking if we would like to join them for lunch. I told him we were standing outside Air Force One. There was a long silence and finally I said Regan's Air Force One. We had a good laugh.

I thought it was a touching tribute and huge sign of respect from the Secret Service agents of her protection detail (both past and present), to serve as pallbearers from the funeral home to the hearse.

Good luck finding agents from the Clinton's or Obama's who would pay their respects in a similar manner

It actually says a lot. They loved each, were each respected and admired by all. At the current rate, for a potus to not attend this one, shame on him. He's such a d bag

Presidents historically do not attend funerals for First Ladies . I believe no presidents have attended one in over 60 years . Usually their wife attends . I have nothing against our President for not attending .

Mr. T chose correctly. Even tho he might come across as a knucklehead, his action to pay tribute to Nancy speaks volumes.
