NASA found water on the moon !

I don't like to fly but a quick trip might be fun. It may not happen in my life time but my kids might get to go.

"Yes, we found water," said Anthony Colaprete, the principal investigator for NASA's Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS), a mission that culminated in a spectacular crash on the surface of the moon about a month ago.

I wonder when the first Moon Brew will occur?

Drink Moon beer, it's outta this World :pbj

NASA says water could be used for drinking, and for fueling rockets. Well damn...why are we using fossil fuels when there is so much water here on earth? To break down water for fuel requires a bit more energy than can be created, so where is all THAT energy supposed to come from?

Nevertheless, having found very ancient water on the moon is great news! I just don't buy the rationale for its future use.

That's just great, they find water, we start talking about Moon Beer and then it gets all complicated.

Beer = not complicated

How would the brewing process change working with only 1/6th the gravity? Would the bubbles fly straight up out of the glass? Would you use less yeast since it would expand 6 times normal? Could you drink 6 times as much without the weight gain?

These are important questions that NASA must answer....ASAP.

LOL doesn't this put NASA at the same level as those Brownian Gas kooks?

Maybe solar energy, I hope that in 50 years or so we (the planet earth) will be able to get most of our energy from the sun. I do not see us going back to the moon in my lifetime, and I am going to live to be 100. :craz fd
