Need a timing light

My old Craftsman died and I need to replace it. What is being recommended these days? I see Craftsman has a "fancy" professional digital one with lots of buttons on the back. I'm still very use to the old school ones that have the single dial knob on the back.

I wouldn't know.....mine is of 1974 vintage, Sun brand I believe.....nothing but two wires and a trigger with the light. Still works.

I think I still have an old Craftsman from the late 80's stored somewhere in garage. Let me know if you want to use it and I can dig it up.

I bought an Actron timing light a few years ago (10?) with variable timing. Been good to me so far.

I have an Actron...been using it about 10-12 years..simple dial on the back..easy to use even for me..think it costs about 40-50 bucks when I bought it

Just went to the Aktron website...nothing at all like Vinny and I have in stock.

If you want something cool, a digital gun that displays rpm and lets you change advance is nice to have. That said, I still have a cheapo craftsman with nothing but a trigger.
