Need dimenion for mirror placement

I need to glue my rear view mirrror on the new '68 windshield. Can someone give me a measurement from the weather stripping edge down to approximately the center of the mirror's fixing plate?

Craig, I'm on a trip, won't be home until Weds afternoon.

I just measured my 69 and is was 4 1/2 that should work fine,just make sure you don't glue the bracket on upside down. Rich.

Yup. 4.5" below the weather stripping.
