I'm tired of all the junk emails I get everyday so I'm going to change it. Does it really matter what I create in front of the @ symbol? If so any tips on what this part should include?

I really don't think it matters tht much. That's why I keep 3 different accounts. 1 for personal and the other for all business I have to do. I also forward the business account into my personal one so emails run through 2 different spam filters. The last one is the one for any of the promotional stuff that you need an email address for. I check that one every 2 weeks or so just to do a major spam dump. It's not as hard as it sounds and keeps me from a lot of the trash stuff.

My biggest gripe with the technology of email is that you have to start a Whole New Account! There must be millions of dead email accounts by now! Why can't the geniuses just program the ability to change your email address into their system?????? Even the Post Office (Goverment) can do that!!!!!!!

I have a junk email account in hotmail that I use for promotional / required email things, and I check it and clear it out every few weeks.
