The building manager where I work had the parking lot painted today and got float on everyone's car. Now It is my Diamond blue coupe and you can not see it on the paint but you can feel it. You can see the float on the tires.

Guess I know what I am doing this weekend.

They could not do it off hours, like the weekend or the evening? Better yet post some signs saying that on 9/27 the P-lot is getting painted. :chair

I know your frustration. When I lived in Corpus Christi a contractor was painting aircraft hangars nearby. They got white polyurethane over spray all over my brand spanking new BLACK '86 GT. Boy was I ticked!!

I had a new paint job on a 76 F250 and went to work one day when this contractor ha decided the road he slurried was dry enough for traffic.

35" BFGs kicked up a buttload of that crap all over my truck.

I complained and they paid for a professional detailing at a place of my choice and said if the paint was ruined they would paint the truck.

The paint ended up being OK and they paid for the detailing.

Just some diesel fuel and wax and a buff took care of it.

I have learned that many of those that wear the managers hat lack the most important element critical to preventing events like this................common sense. He ain't got it. No reason why they could not paint the lot after hours or on a weekend. I would consider using some spray can paint remover and writing the words "Dumba$$" on the side of his vehicle. When he takes it to the car wash it will magically appear. Course I've never done anything like that. :jerk
