Bridge bypassing Hoover dam opens soon.

"Officials say the bridge contains some 16 million pounds of steel, 30 cubic yards of concrete and 2 million feet of cable — enough to stretch well past Phoenix from Las Vegas."

My patio has more concrete than that bridge. Sheesh!

I have been to the site it is at before it was built.....the bridge is at ground level.....not tall at all. It is a rather large crack that it crosses.

Oh crap, I'll have to drive over that when I go to the Utah National in 2012. At least it will be well broken in by then. I've been watching them build that on several trips to and through Vegas. It looks high to me.
