New CA license plates?

Ok most know that California has cracked down on the making of new old plates and that legally one can no longer purchase any. I know of only this place

and I contacted them some time ago and they said the Cal Attorney General made them cease plate production.

So since this place offers up international plates I'm thinking there has to be some other place in the world that makes auto license plates which hasn't succumbed to California's pressure on making plates.

Any suggestions?

I've heard of a guy named Ray Ray at the Pomona swap meet who makes plates by cutting up multiple plates and welding together the needed letters/numbers. Supposed to be real good.

They make the stickers at CMC in SLO.

Folsom is your best bet, Mike. I am sure if nobody is looking you could get just about anything made for the right price!
