New dog at our house.

Well, we found a 4 1/2 year old chocolate lab - poodle mix that this lady was giving away.

We took Maxi and the kids labradoodle Toby to meet him. They hit it off great and we brought home our 65 pound sweatheart.

His name is Murphy and he is one of the most well behaved dogs I've ever seen.

We took him to the groomer and shaved his very long and matted fur off. He turned into a totally different dog.

It seems we are the family he has been waiting for.

The lady told is he liked to run off. He hasn't tried that once at our house.

Makes you wonder.

Big dogs = lots of food eaten and large piles in the yard, no room at the foot of the bed either. I think my wife likes the dogs more than she likes me.
