New Fuel Pump Istall, which is the inlet?

They usually have arrows cast in but if not operate the lever and see which one ( oh that) Sucks.
Looking at the pump, typically the snout on the left is inlet

You can see my fuel pump in this pic. The barb on the left is where the hose from the tank goes and the right has the screw in hard line to the carb.
