New house.

Well, we finally got moved. And now, the mustang has a new home. A 2400 sq ft shop. I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance to get away from the house.
So here's the view from my back porch.

If that's the shop in the distance I fortell the wife investing in binoculars to monitor your 'doings'. Congrats, I hope to have that much space one day in the surrounding Nashville area.

Congrats! The yard looks nice, the shop too if thats it. Whats the rest of the house look like?

Yup that's the shop. It's at the very back of the property. Bad news is it's only dirt floor. Previous owner used it to store a dump truck and tractors.
As for the rest of the house. 3 fenced acres. It's 1730 sq ft, 3 bed 1.5 bath( tiny shower in one), 2 car garage and 2 car carport, kitchen and living room is one massive room. Big closets in every bedroom. A large sunroom out back that will be my home office.

It's an older house so it needs updating. But since this is the last house we'll ever buy, we've got the time.
Got it for $165k. And the lil old lady left us a brand new pressure washer, John Deere riding mower, and a massive 6.5 hp compressor.

Nice. What state & area are you in? (I'm looking to eventually relocate.)

My place is for sale. More space and no neighbors!

North Mississippi Desoto county, just south of Memphis.

What is the summer & winter weather like? Snow?

Weather in the Southern States, especially Miss. is pretty mild. 65-75 degrees year round. No flying bugs, humidity, or snow.

I think it's that stuff they show on Christmas cards. :shrug

Snow--its that stuff they form into popsicle like shapes and slowly insert into californians and floridians you know what in the winter. Nice view on the new house.

Wow makes me wonder why we Californians do it. I could afford to retire today to a place like that. If I didn't have kids that is.

Winter isn't too bad. We might get a month of really cold weather, but most of the time it stays well above freezing. We might get snow once a year. Summers are another animal. Starting in June, expect 90's and humid through early September.

A few more pics of the shops. One will be used for a gardening shed.
