New Mustang Owner has arrived

Our first grandchild has arrived, one day after her scheduled build date.
Isabella is 9lb 9oz and her mum had a 4 hour labour (after all the horror stories we told them).
We now head off on a 1600km drive to spend some time with them.
I wonder what my son will say when i tell him he's not getting my 68 anymore, its going to Poppys princess!
 
After a 1000km drive yesterday, we stopped overnight in Mackay and did the last 600km's to arrive at lunchtime and no surprise the typical sheila's are both asleep, so another 2 hour wait for Isabella to wake up.
It was worth the wait to hold her and brought back some old memories of 22 years ago when our son was born.
She is a little cutie and the way she tries to look around you wouldnt think sh was only 1 1/2 days old.
This photo was taken an hour after birth.
both mum and bub are home now and getting some special attention.
I wont be looking forward to going home in 8 days

Congrats!

Two of our friends here are both about to be first time mom's. One was due on the 10th and is being induced today, the other's due date was yesterday. New babies are great!
