New shoes for WIFE 3

Shaun

Member
Wife 1 picked out some new wheels for her ride. FR500's in Matte Black with Pony center caps. 18x9's with 255/35/18 Nitto's in front and 18x10 with 285/35/18 Nitto's in the rear. Should get her to work and back in a bit more style next Summer!

If only you knew someone that makes big brake kits....

Believe it or not but that is a 13" rotor in front already. Looks small. Maybe a 15" rotor system is in my future to fill up the wheel...

Do you think that those 9 inch wheels will fit on the 67-8 cars also. I read over on VMF you used 1 1/4 wheel spacers up front.

Not sure. The 69/70's are just cavernous and swallow wide tires but I've never modded a 67/68 past a 17x8 with 4.75" backspacing.

Looks nice Shaun, do you have clearance in the front turning lock to lock?

I'm sure it'll be ok but I haven't checked yet. Snow on the ground so can't drive it and the lift is occupied with a gutted 66 coupe right now. I don't do any crawling around on the floor anymore if I can help it!

Perhaps an addition to the wheel and tire chart is in order? :pbj
