New (to me) Chevy toy

Partly Chevy, anyway. Bought a new to me boat before the Mustang is done. It's not like the boat I have isn't OK, but the wife found this one, and I made the mistake of testing it. 26 footer, 385hp 454 Bravo III dual prop outdrive. Damn. Huge amounts of room, storage, a head (porta-potty) and 60 quart cooler.

Did I mention that 454? Suprisingly, it gets nearly the same as mileage my 125 two cycle gets (about 3 mpg).

0-30 in less than 4 seconds. Thats damn quick for you non-boat types - water has lots of friction. Tops out at 56 mph, but I'm pretty sure there's more there - new props in the future. No good pics(camera batt crapped out), just these crappy craigslist & magazine pics.

Actual Boat:

Very nice. I'm actually looking at boats and don't live too far from you. Send me some info on what you got.

Will do- tied up this w/e, but first thing Monday

If I can ever make it to Kansas. All I want is the opportunity to return the favor. Last year I almost had an '84 (IIRC) ski nautique with the 351 for $3,500. I went and saw it (know the guy) and the thing was freakin' cherry. Unbelievable 2 owner that saw maybe 4 hours a year. He was all set to sell....until he went to the wife for "clearance". Nice boat Mark. I want another for some reason. You can just send the info to my email apollard. dm65_98@yahoo.com

Verrry Nice! Here's a song for you to play on your inaugural ride:
The Lonely Island - I'm On A Boat ft. T-Pain
censored version from snl

I used to have a small business doing boat maint. - wash/compound/wax, refurb teakwood, etc. spent a lot of time on boats from 25-110ft. but haven't owned on in years but have lately been getting the bug now that springs here and I'm near a lake again.

Bought a new to me boat

If you don't mind me asking.... price tag? ~$15k?

We've outgrown our boat and are semi-looking around.... heck, I'm always looking around for a deal. Your new boat is exactly what we're looking for. The 19' Bayliner would be too small for us.

$16.8k - guy came down from 18500. Looking around, the 16.8 is low average for this boat. Tax (fookin NC!), titles, trailer tag (fookin' NC!) - 17,500
