Dabbled in that from a different company when in Az. Have fun....nice to do your own stuff.

Gotta try a cat, sometimes they turn out pretty good.

My attempt with the Harbor Freight set-up a few years ago. I used my torpedo heater. Turned out good. Did the upper A and an old oil pan. I got my powder off a place called Columbia Coatings.

Ya know, I'm having trouble with the images loading. As such all I could see was the title of the thread and the text. Specifically, what I could see was "New toy came in today" and "Can't wait to use it". Now who in the WORLD instantly sprang to mind?! :confu

Kat, any guesses? LOL

I bet that Eastwood stuff would work well as a rub for Smoked Chicken.
It might but the chicken would be over done by the time it was baked on.

BTW Craig, how did your chicken turn out?

Steven powder coated some speaker stands with black crinkle coat. Had some issues with uneven heat on the cure (lower right stand) but we plan on a new burner design to fix that.

When the outside temp was over 105 yesterday, The powder started to clump in the gun like it was melting. Also Steven did not like the jar holder on the Eastwood gun. The jar will come off if you bump the jar. It is barley held on (a quarter turn on the lid threads).

Also need to figure out how to clean the gun whenever we need to try a different powder.

Steven also says not to touch the leads of the static charger. 25000 volts (even at low amps) gives quite a jolt. Made him drop a jar of powder.
