New TV show looking for cars...literally

Paging Doug Ford to the white courtesy phone... I think his story about the lady in FL looking for her dads car should be on the show.

Wow. deja vu'
I think they're looking for previous owners that are currently looking for their old cars though so that would eliminate her since she now knows where it is.
I's sure like to find both of my old GT500's though. Wonder if I oughta contact them.

It's a TV show. Hers is probably the exact story they would want. They want to make episodes, not spend time finding cars. I'm sure there will be plenty of re-enactment whether they claim it or not. Has to be if you realize the work and time involved in finding and locating a car. Contact them today!

Ok I contacted them. They said they were emailing her right then so we'll see what happens. It would be nice for her and my buddy if they made an episode out of it.

You should offer yourself up as a technical expert/consultant for the episode. Might even get some screen time.

Surely you jest...having him have airtime would turn off the majority of viewers.... :sarc

Well I saw this and figured what the heck. So I emailed them about my dads cars. I know the 61 vette is gone forever, but his 69 camaro may still be out there.

Long story short I just received a response from them. They are interested in my story and are forwarding it on to the higher ups. I know its a camaro, but I just thought I would share if anything comes of it.

This is exactly right. These shows are so fake. A cousin of mine was one of the guys who buys something from the storage locker guys on tv, the show contacted him to buy something. They told him how much to offer and gave him cash to buy it. On the show looks like a sale. There was no sale. He didn't buy anything.

That story is perfect for them!!!!

Sandi told me the show's producer or whoever it is has been in contact with her. They've talked about using her story but haven't committed to anything.

I would like to find an old '82 Ford Truck I used to own years ago.

However, even if they found it I'd have no where to put it.

Maybe we should tell them about how Duane would like to find the owl that visited him back in the day and started his fear of owls? :shrug
