Did they ever figure out that big ass score board thing?

All over the freakin news here...... They are going to keep it as is, for now. If its hit during a game they will replay the down. One of the local radio stations had a contest where they hung a 50 inch plasma 90 feet in the air and let people punt and see if they could hit it. The winner got the TV. Hope the footballs didnt damage it...

My 2 favorite teams are the Steelers and whoever is playing the ravens. :toot

btw...

The Thursday night game between the Steelers and the Tennessee Titans that opened the 2009 NFL season was the most watched NFL Kickoff since the concept’s inception, according to official national ratings data released by Nielsen Media Research.

The Steelers won the game in overtime, 13-10, and the dramatics inherent in such a contest helped the telecast draw an average audience of 20.9 million viewers. The previous high for the NFL Kickoff was the 2006 edition between the Steelers and Dolphins – the first Thursday night NFL Kickoff game on NBC – and that was seen by 19.2 million people.

So, the Steelers broke the record that they already held.

I thought I read somewhere that this was a simple matter of demographics and not something to get all excited about. Something about a higher percentage of Steelers fans being unemployed and having nothing better to do than sit around watching TV.....

So, how 'bout my Pats on MNF! Two TD's in 1:51!

Beware Steelers fans.... Brady is going to pick your D to shreds!

No kidding... that was an amazing come back!

The San Diego game also had a great end, too.

Definitely great Monday night football.... but I don't ever remember seeing 2 Monday night games. Was that a first?

I thought that they (the NFL) started that 4 years ago with the winner of the super bowl playing the first game on Thursday and MNF having 2 games, right coast game and left coast game.

San Diego got lucky, I do not like the raiders, but I like to see a clean fair game. I still say that the catch in the end zone by the raider was a touchdown. He had possesion and took 2 steps in the end zone and then the ball started to slip out as he fell to the gound.

How does a raider fan teach his child to count to ten? oh and one, oh and two, oh and three...

The Bears suck.....their problem?....The head coach. He kept a moron quartback for years and now with maybe a possible, possible decent QB he decides to run the defense too. And now Urlacher is out they got nothin'.

Hey at least I'm a realists Bear fan...been one since the 1963 championship.

Sweetness will always be the best ever football player. :toot RIP.
