NO NATIVITY SCENE IN WASHINTON

The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in the
American Capital this Christmas season.
This isn't for any religious reason.
They simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in Washington.
A search for a Virgin continues.
There was no problem, however, finding enough donkeys to fill the stable
 
I'll bet that there is no nativity scene in Canberra either, for all of the same reasons. Except that in Canberra the sheep wont participate in the nativity because they all want to keep their butts to the wall. :shee Maybe i have Canerra and Wellington confused.
 
I changed it to washington coz i thought nobody in the USA had heard of Canberra.
We have just had the Oprah Winfrey juggernaut pass through with 300 studio guests she brought with her and about 1/2 of them had never heard of OZ.
This confirms that i was right when i said to the Princess "Imagine when they get here and open the plane door and say "It took a long time to get to Austria, wheres all the snow?".
Mind you i think they had a good time and it will be good for OZ tourism.

PS. I dont think there would be 1 country where this joke wouldnt be appropriate
 
When I moved from the DC area in 2000, the last wise(acre) man in the area left.
