That's all I'm saying this weekend to both Cheyenne and Karma, especially Karma. No, don't do that; no, don't eat that; no, no, no. And, I'm loving it! Nothing like a seven-week-old kitten to make life interesting. She likes to type on my laptop, chew the laptop cord, bite my nose (that's how she woke me up this morning), drink my ice tea and lick the ice cubes, and basically get into everything. Typical kitten.

Get a squirt bottle, and hose her down when she does something she shouldn't be doing. It's about the only way to "train" a cat.

That's how we keep our cat out of the Christmas tree every year. You'd think after 14 years he would learn?

How about that x7 (times seven). Yes seven kittens plus our 3 adult cats. The babies are only guests, the SWMBO is fostering a family of kittens until they are old enough (or weigh 2 pounds). The wonderful people that refuse to get their pets spayed or neutered and end up with a family of kittens and then DUMP them at the pound. Well they came from the pound and will go back to the pound old and healthy enough to be placed.

I have the old water pistol I used to use with my last cat and eventually will get it out. But, I really don't want to be spraying water at my laptop.

Try a can of compressed air... a short burst does tend to get noticed and will not harm electronics.

I'll probably put a bit of pepper sauce on the cord where she chews. It's been fun today. They're now wrestling with each other and considering the size difference, it's hilarious.

It is funny to watch, moreso when there's a considerable size difference.

My German Shephard came into the house 3 years ago as an 8 lb. puppy. At that time my wifes Chihuahua's were 6 and 4 pounds. The Chihuahua's laid down the law for the new puppy. Fast forward to now and the Shephard is almost 100 lbs. and still "plays" with the Chihuahua's. It's hilarious to watch them still try to boss him around. His snout is bigger than both of them put together. How they manage to co-exist without getting stepped on and squished is beyond me.

Watching my 95lbs Weimaraner get stuck in a room when my wife's 10lbs cat guards the door is about the funniest thing I've seen. He will cry and howl if the cat won't move. But my cat and the dog get along great, they're always playing. And when I say playing, I mean the dog pinning the cat to the ground and using him as a chew toy.

Just to give you an idea, here's my dog and cat hanging out.

It's quite a size difference right now for my two, Cheyenne is 40 pounds and Karma is about 1 pound. This morning Cheyenne was sitting Sphinx-like with her two front legs extended and Karma did a back flip and landed upside down on Cheyenne's legs to tease her. No fear there!

I love this, I just spent $10 on toys for Karma and she's playing with a Kleenix. Cats.....sigh.....

Wait until she discovers the roll of toilet paper...

Go Karma Go! Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes!

Those are Cheyenne's favorites. Karma's not quite tall enough yet, but I know that's coming.

Yeah, mine stands right on the keyboard and also changes channels on the tv for me.
