I have a chance to buy a 67/70 9inch rear with nodular centre section does anyone know what the ratio options were for the n-case centres.cant get to the car to check the tag on diff as its snowed in at the moment just curious.thanks javed

Until you check it out there is no way to be sure what could be there.

I think only the 428CJ's got the nodular section in 1968.

The reality is the N case could have been put on that car any time in the last 40+ years and any gear set installed.

Considering where you are (Scotland), I wouldn't let snow stop me. Get that thing identified and into your possession as quickly as practical. The gear ratio doesn't matter. N case and potential limited slip does.

Though some of the pictures are now broken, Kevintang's page on 9 inch rears might be helpful. If you can look at the axle flange and identify it to be 31 spline, the chances of a N case are decent. That might help with the snow issue...

Good luck!
